One of the major challenges of the construction industry from the perspective of environmental considerations is the widespread emission of greenhouse gases and the accumulation of a large volume of construction waste. This study investigates the simultaneous effect of recycled concrete aggregate, pozzolan, and polypropylene fibers on pavement concrete. Fourteen mix designs were evaluated in terms of slump, 7-day and 28-day compressive strength, indirect tensile strength, elastic modulus, and water absorption. This study investigated the simultaneous effect of using recycled concrete aggregates to reduce the consumption of natural resources, replacing pozzolan in place of part of the cement to reduce carbon dioxide production, and adding polypropylene fibers. In this study, the effect of various factors on the performance of the studied mix designs was evaluated by conducting a one-way ANOVA test on the results. The results of this study show that the mix design with 25% recycled materials, 25% pozzolan, and 1% fibers showed the highest 28-day compressive strength with an average of 38 MPa and one of the highest indirect tensile strengths with 3.5 MPa. The results of this study show that with an appropriate mix design including the simultaneous use of recycled materials, pozzolan, and fibers, a mixture for pavement concrete can be achieved that, in addition to having environmental benefits in terms of reducing cement consumption and using recycled materials, also has desirable mechanical properties and durability.
